Gates Honors Us for Support of Wounded

On 22 June, 2009, the Secretary of Defense, Robert Gates, hosted an outdoor party at the Mologne House at Walter Reed Army Medical Center. The occasion was to honor the organizations that have assisted the wounded warriors at Walter Reed. John "Shadow" Hope is pictured shaking hands with Secretary Gates, as he is being thanked for the support provided by the Red River Valley Fighter Pilots and the Air Warrior Courage Foundation.
